I really enjoyed this read. The romance was touching and tender, not completely sex-driven. There was a real connection between the hero and heroine. Also a huge twist in the middle, which I don't want to spoil, but I totally didn't see it coming. I didn't want to put this book down!

I liked how the characters seemed to direct a lot of what went on. Not only that, but the characters themselves had hidden dimensions. Nobody was perfect, and nobody was entirely flawed, either. Even someone who I thought I had pegged from the beginning, surprised me by the end.

Kendall Family is back again with another brother in love. But just like the first one, this love is also tough to get. Randi Everheart had me captured with Tristan. With such an engrossing story, when it came to an end, the curiosity to read the next in the series was too much to handle. So when Connor came out, I was on the book like cat on milk. And it definitely made me happy.

Connor is 4th in the 5 sibling family of Kendall. But love seems to be targeting in descending order for them. Soon after the youngest got hitched, it is Connor’s turn to find true love. But with Sophia, true love comes with a price – a deadly stalker-ish price. There are some points in the story where I felt the concept of true love is taken literally and very much like a fairy tale. But that gave a very uber-romantic ambiance to the story.

Connor is very much like any olden fairy tale minus the frills and royal kingdom. That gives a very lovable feel to the entire story. It is very easy to imagine the flow of the story as it goes and the feel-good factor at the end is just another amazing thing about it. With the novels of today which gives a hard-hitting reality, stories like Connor helps you believe that knight-in-shining-armor do exist and true love, although hard to find, is definitely there.

Randi Everheart took the Kendall Family series to the next level with Connor. Sweet, diligent with a splash suspense that both thrilled and shocked me. The way Ms. Everheart blends these qualities together, tells me why she is one of my top favorite authors.

Connor after the first initial shock of this hero, he had me melting at his feet. His has charm, charisma and his love for life is why I could not help but be engross in his story. Being one of the Kendall siblings he works the Bed & Breakfast enjoying his own brand of peace that was up until Connor got a glimpse of his latest guest.

Sophia is sweet with a bit innocence when it comes to life. I enjoyed watching her character grow into someone who could handle anything or anyone. Ms. Everheart knows how to up the ante when she gives Sophia her very own stalker/psycho. The question is will Seth her stalker get what he wants?

Connor and Sophia are amazing on their own but together they have a strong chemistry, fun moments and are quite the sexy couple. I will say that after book 1 Tristan with such a strong pull I was hesitant on Connor be able to hold a candle but, I am here to say that Connor did that and so much more.

The supporting characters were mostly the Kendall siblings and family. I enjoyed getting to know them better with their quirks. Bring on book #3! Jade even though she was on the wrong side, I think she truly wanted to give Sophia the benefit of being someone she could like and trust.

Clear off space on your keeper’s shelf. Randi Everheart’s Kendall Family series looks to be amazing. Randi Everheart delivers strong characters, witty dialog and passions with a “no Holds Barred” feel.
The love and suspense is great. I love family series. It shows what a family of love really represents. If all families could be like this.
I downloaded the sample and based on that, I thought the book would be good. I liked the main characters, Connor and Sophia, but I had to make myself finish the book because they both acted pretty stupid. I was really disappointed because had the book had a more worthy villain and had Connor and Sophia acted more intelligently, this could have been a great book. I can't detail the stupid things they did (especially Sophia) without giving away plot spoilers, but will just say that both must have been left behind in school.
I love to follow a series, and book 2 of the Kendall Family series does not disappoint! This one features Connor, the 2nd youngest sibling (I think). He's an all-around good guy looking to find someone to build a family with. He's young, 24, but has a centered life and is solid, dependable, and ready to settle down. Sophia is the damsel in distress that Connor can't help but protect. She's a cute character, a little naïve, but she is very young so it's forgivable. She is on the run from her stalker, which can sometimes be a reoccurring plot in romantic suspense stories, but this one offers a twist in the characters that adds a depth to the story not often seen in other authors' works.
There are some very hot scenes, but the chemistry between the characters is overall sweet and hopeful. It's a nice mix for the reader.
As expected in a good series, the other siblings of the Kendall clan contribute to the story and only keep building as characters. They are all likable and interesting, and I can't wait to find out what happens with the rest of them.
Second book of a series and I haven't read the first yet. It didn't prevent me enjoying this one at all, but I plan to read it now as well as books that come after this one. A great mix of romance and suspense with the strong, gentle Connor and sweet, innocent Sophie who brings out the hero in him. It's like a modern fairy tale and I never get tired of fairy tales! Good character development and good storyline! I'd sure like to know these guys!! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
